We did a lot this month!  Highlights include: Outdoor soccer with the Leapin’ Lizards, Flower class with Kara, Time with family, Senior Sunday, Mollie giving Reed her chair for his birthday, Real haircuts, Big Twelve Baseball, Field Day, and Muffins with Mom.

Mornings with Mom and Field Day

I got to spend a lot of time at Mollie’s school recently.  May 11 was “Mornings with Mom” and we had donuts together.  She was very excited to have me there and I was very happy to be there.  We found Raegan and her mom, April, and she didn’t talk to me after that. ha

We were sad to find out that Raegan is moving, but we assured them they can still facetime.  Also, they were too cute carrying the snacks to their class.

Then May 30 was Field Day and I got to go help out all day!  It was extremely hot but I loved being there and watching her interact with all her friends.

Mollie, I love you more than you can possibly understand!  Sometimes it’s hard to let you go to school every day because I just miss you that much.  But, you love it!  You are super organized and always have something to say.  You are an excellent student and your teachers talk about how well you listen.  You seem to be a natural leader, as a lot of the kids in your class look up to you.  I can’t wait to continue to watch you grow and blossom in all grades.  Pre-K down…. 18 more to go!

Big Twelve Baseball 2018

May 24-26

We always love this weekend!  This was Reed’s first time to go and he, of course, loved it!  Last year he was almost here and Mamma didn’t want to sit out in the hotness.  I always love to see Nate sit and watch a baseball game.  You can just tell that he really enjoys it and that makes me love it too!

The first day we sat in our normal third base spot, ate dip-n-dots, and enjoyed the hospitality room. 

The second day we ventured upstairs and Mollie actually got a foul ball!  She was so excited, and we were shocked.

And…. both days we scored awesome free parking.  It was a great weekend!

Mother’s Day 2018

This was my first Mother’s Day with two sweet babies.  What a dream come true!  I am thankful every day for these kiddos!

I recently heard that your heart actually grows when your pregnant and my immediate thought was, of course it does…. So. Much. Love.  And even when your body returns somewhat to normal, your heart is still growing every day.  What a great privilege it is to be their mom.

I love you so much Mollie Grace and Reed Isaac!

Grandma came to church with us again this Mother’s Day.  It is always fun to be with your mom on this day.  It was our first one without Grandma Betty and she was definitely in the front of our minds.

And I think I really am turning into my mom…. We both got each other the same cookbooks for gifts.
