Reed’s 1st Haircut
April 13, 2018 . 10 1/2 Months Old
Cutest thing ever. He just sat in the chair so still and patient. We were all very impressed. The previous two times I cut it at home he did not stop moving.

Reed Isaac–5 Months Old
Time is flying! This month you started (trying to) sleeping in your own bed! You got good at eating some baby cereal. You went to the Pumpkin Patch, dressed up as Robin with your big sister as Batgirl, and got your very first haircut!
You are such an easy going baby! We love you so much!

Mollie’s First Haircut
September 10, 2016
At home, Mollie doesn’t stop talking…. but out and about, she is actually pretty shy. If there are other people around it always takes her a while to warm up… or especially if there are other kids.
I’ve cut her hair after a bath several times, but I was getting a haircut on this day and decided it was time for her to try it out.
One of my girls has decided to be a hairdresser. I am super pumped about this decision as I am always on the hunt for one that won’t stop talking to me after they find out I work at a church. ha So, I got to be her very first haircut! It was exciting and a little scary for both of us.
Afterwards, we took Mollie to a children’s haircutting place where she got to pick which chair to sit in…. she picked McQueen… and get a tattoo before she left. She was scared but so brave.

A Little Cut
October 19, 2015
For my upcoming 30th birthday I wanted to do something memorable. My hair has always been a big thing for me. In my mind, It's my shield and I hide behind it.
So, I decided to chop it off.... to do something crazy for my bday, to create a new kind of confidence, to celebrate that there are way more important things in life, and to hopefully bless someone going through a hard time.
I'm praying that the person that eventually wears the wig with my hair in it, will feel comfort, confidence, know our Savior and be on her way to complete physical healing.
