Tonsillectomy

MARCH 31, 2016

3 Years and 4 Months

Our Mollie girl is so brave.  She didn’t exactly understand what was going on, but she did everything we asked her to do.  It was a rough day, but man….. she spoiled with love and gifts when we got home.

Both Grandma and Papa, and Grandmamma and Granddaddy came to visit.  And, she enjoyed lots of popsicles and cuddles.

She got all better super fast, and was drinking and eating better than she ever had, in her whole life!

Ears ~ Mollie’s Surgery

Nate and I both have horrible ears.  Growing up we had too many ear infections to count and both had two sets of tubes.  We were surprised that Mollie didn’t have as many issues…. Until she got her first ear infection in November 2013.  From there, we just couldn’t get her poor little ears to heal.  She had three ear infections in less than four months, so they sent us to the ENT.  I was still hopeful that her ears would be clear, but nope…. She was headed for surgery.

May 21, 2014.  It was a really fast procedure and the doctor and anesthesiologist were the nicest.  It is just scary to hand your baby to anyone… especially when they are going to put her to sleep and cut into her ear drum.  But by the time I texted my parents and went to the bathroom, she was in recovery.
