Super fun month full of birthdays!  Mollie played more soccer and decorated her turkey like a "Caticorn" player.  She also had some awesome birthday donuts and a magical party!  Reed continued to grow and play.... so cute!  We got some unexpected snow on my birthday, so that was a fun treat!  And we put up our Christmas tree and went through the lights while school was still out for Thanksgiving break!

Reed’s 1st Birthday Party – My, Oh My…How Time Flies!

We had so much fun celebrating Reed’s first birthday.  I loved putting the party together for him, just like I did for Mollie’s.  He didn’t really know what was going on, but he had a great time walking around and eating pizza.

Grandma continued her tradition of making the cakes… She made the cutest cake, smash cake, cookies and cupcakes!

He didn’t dig into the cake and go crazy like we all thought he would…. but he ate a little.  There were too many people looking at him.

For decorations, we went with red, white and blue.  Everything was pretty cute…. complete with banners, pictures on the TV, gummy airplane party favors, and cloud centerpieces.  Mollie also decorated a cloud for his birthday and we made sure to hang it the first place people would see.

We all ate pizza, pretzels and peanuts (like you get on planes) and Grandma’s yummy cake.  Then we spend some time bouncing in the bounce house and opening a few presents.

Happy Birthday sweet boy!  We love you soooooooo!

Reed Isaac – One Year Old!

This was most definitely the fastest year of our lives!  We can’t believe you are already a whole year old!  Reed, you are the sweetest baby in the world! You have been such a joy and we love you sooooo much!  This month you had your first ear infection, but you took all your medicine like a champ! .  We are crossing our fingers that you won’t have chronic infections and have to have tubes like Mollie. 

You went to more soccer games and more church events with us.  You celebrated your first Mother’s Day with me.  You are such an answered prayer and that day was very special to me. When you’re tired you will just let me hold you and put your cheek against mine.  Then, we will sway cheek to cheek until you fall asleep or my arms give out.

We love to watch you try new things and experience the world.  You went to your first Big Twelve Baseball Tournament.  You loved it, of course… but then again, it was outside.  And, you looooove to be outside.  I can’t wait to watch you and your Dad watch/play sports together someday soon.  You are already more coordinated than me so I’m not worried at all about your athleticism.  Your chubby little legs are always moving and you crack us up when you dance.  You also got two more teeth!
