December 2018

Mollie went to see The Nutcracker with Duncan, sang at church, went caroling with Kinley, made a birthday cake for Jesus, kept enjoying gymnastics and was the best big sister to Reed.
Reed kept growing and smiling.  He lets Mollie lay all over him, and definitely loves movies.

Christmas 2018

Christmas!  It's the best time of the year!  We had a great time going from this to that, and getting some time off work.  Mollie had a bunch of parties to go to.... but that's a different post.We started out going to church with Grandma and Papa, as always.  It was great to go back to Union Hill for our once-a-year trip.  Then we went over to Brian and Kim's big new house for lunch and presents.  We all get spoiled over there.  Nana gave me a special ring, that was once Willodean's and Mom and Dad gave Nate and I a Traeger grill!  Nate was super excited about that!  We all took turns holding little Teddy and Reed even took a nap on my shoulder.... I was not sad about the cuddles.

Christmas Eve:  Mollie got to open her one present.... a game, which we all promptly played.  And, then she sprinkled some reindeer food on the yard.

Christmas:  Watching Mollie and Reed open their stockings is my favorite thing.  I don't know why.... just is.  She was took cute with her reindeer antlers and sleepy eyes.  When Reed finally woke up he enjoyed opening his presents too... with a lot of help from sister.
Papa came and ate some lunch with us, as Grandma stayed to look after Grandma Betty.  It was a stressful time for us in that way.

The next day, we enjoyed some lights and fun!

And soon after we got all the McConathy's together for some lunch.  The girls went on a scavenger hunt that ended with the Christmas story.

Christmas Parties 2018

We were busy, busy, busy with parties this year.  But everything was very fun, fun, fun!

Mollie's soccer team had their own little Christmas party where we exchanged ornaments:

Staff Christmas party at a new mexican restaurant where they made table-side guac. Mmmm.

Dinner with my small group girls + Mollie:

And Mollie's class party at school... where I learned a valuable homeroom mom lesson.... Don't do a craft that involves a glue gun for 21 Kindergartners.
