March 26, 2018 . 5 Years and 4 Months Old
Mollie talked and talked about getting her ears pierced. I told her whenever she decided she was ready we could do it. She thought about it for months… I showed her videos of other girls getting their ears done… We were going to go one day and she changed her mind. And then finally she was ready.
We went to Claire’s at the outlet mall and she was very brave. She had to do one at a time because there was only one lady working, but she was very nice. She cried a bit, but nothing two suckers couldn’t cure.
After it was all done, she was so excited.
She is looking mighty grown up. I love you so much my sweet girl!
March 19-23
Spring Break started out with the coldest trip to the zoo ever! I wasn’t really expecting us to actually get Reed out in the cold, but we survived. Grandmama and Granddaddy liked having all the cousins together for a bit and Nate even went an scooted around all the hills with his scooter.
Mollie got to spend the night with Aubrey and Avery and we picked her up at Grandmama and Granddaddy’s on our way to go camping with Grandma and Papa.
Grandma and Papa are quite the campers these days…. It was so fun to be with them for a little while, just relaxing. Nate made it fine with his cruches and Mollie loved going fishing with Brendan, Landry and Papa. We all told Papa that there was no way she would go all day in a boat, but she sure did.
Reed loves being outside so he was just fine. Could have slept better but that’s just a baby that likes his bed at his house.
Highlights Include: Crazy Hat Day, Fake Mustache, Family Skate Night, Fun Animals at “school”, Playing in the nice weather, and a cupcake!

This was an exciting day! I love ultra sounds and seeing our growing boy! I have been saying the entire time how low and big I think he is. These things were confirmed when we found out his legs were straight down to my center (where he likes to tap dance) and that he already weighs over four pounds.
We got to make sure he is, in fact, a boy… that he has some hair… and that he already doesn’t like to look at the camera ;) After lots of maneuvering, she was able to get a pretty good 3D profile pic.
We so look forward to meeting this sweet boy! Just trying to be patient these days… and now we know that he needs to turn!
