For our fun last week of summer… we went to the zoo. It was kinda raining, but it kept us cool. And, there was nobody there! We had the place all to ourselves.
August…
Highlights Include: “Fry”day shirts, Reed having fun with Eli at Sarah’s, Nate finishing his physical therapy for his broken leg, The kids staying with Grandma and Papa while we ran down to see Mamaw in the hospital, Our 13th Anniversary, Playing in the water after soccer practice.
And for Labor Day, Mollie had a super long break… Friday, Monday and Tuesday out of school… so we went to the Same Noble Museum. It was a super fun way to spend the day!
Easter was a little different this year… being on April 1st. But it was exciting for Reed’s first Easter ever! We had a fun egg hunt at Mollie’s school and also celebrated at Grandmama and Granddaddy’s a little early.
Mollie always has fun with Aubrey and Avery and they were so excited to hunt those eggs. Grandmama always has a story to share and this time Mollie got to hold up the picture of Jesus. Reed wasn’t too into hunting the eggs, but he really liked putting them in his mouth.
We were so proud of Mollie singing a duet in front of everyone at church. It was so precious… She practiced every day 1,000x and Nate and I absolutely loved seeing her sing, “In the name of the Father, In the name of the Son, In the name of the Spirit, Lord we come. We’re gathered together, To lift up His name, To call on our Savior, To fall on Your grace.”
Then on Easter Sunday we went to church…. Reed’s little suit was the cutest thing ever… and then down to Grandma and Papa’s for lunch.
