Memorable Moment #6: LOST!

Oh Man! It all started right after we got married in August 2005. My mom gave us some free rental tickets and we found LOST! With no cable we went through the first season in like one week, and we were soooo hooked.
From there, we encouraged everyone to watch it so we could talk about it.... and before long there were 35 people crammed in our little house every Wednesday night to watch LOST. We would even have LOST marathons to get ready for the upcoming seasons.
Those are some great memories.... LOST really even helped us get to know people better. It gave us something that we could talk about for hours. It was something that we all had in common.
It is a little crazy... I know. We love the show and Nate's face lights up when we talk about what may happen next. What I really loved was watching it with Nate and our youth at Rogers.
Since the big move. We have continued to faithfully watch our beloved show, even without a DVR. We make sure we are on the couch at 8:00pm on Tuesdays.
This Sunday is the final finale. Season 6 is coming to an end in what is supposed to be television event of the decade. O yes.
It is bittersweet, but it seems fitting because we can't watch it with Jason and Hanna anymore. We are, however, going to watch it with some other great friends on Sunday..... Get ready Steve and Kristin cause I might cry. haha
We can't wait!

Baby, Baby, Baby

Baby. I feel like this word is following me around.....
It seems like that is the first thing people start asking when you get back from your honeymoon.... So, when are you gonna have a baby?
And then it just gets worse when you have been married for almost 5 years. Don't get me wrong, I have always wanted to be a mother.... That is all I have really ever wanted to be. But I know that I will know when I'm ready, and I am sooo not ready.
I do think about Nate and I becoming parents..... after all my future children are why I started this blog. I would think it was neat to read all about my parents before, during, and after I was born (maybe I'll have a daughter that is like me) :)
And anyway..... three of my good friends had babies last year. I miss seeing them cause we moved about six months ago.
Now my good friend here is having her baby tonight or in the early morning. If you're reading this today send up some prayers for Hollie, Zack, and "Baby Boy"..... We will know his name soon!
It seems like everytime we run into someone from high school or college, they are pregnant.
Or if we run into anyone we know from anywhere, they are asking us about when we are going to have a baby.
I'm going to a baby shower on Saturday for my cousin who just adopted.
Even the lady at the bank drive-thru was asking me if there were kids in the back. ha.
I guess we are just that age.... But sorry mom-in-law, no grand-babies yet.
It seems like this post is meant to be, not only because I'm thinking about Hollie..... but also because over at KellysKornerBlog she is asking what your baby names are or will be.
So here goes:
~For a baby girl, we like oldies but goodies~
Reese
Kate
Isabelle
Anna (my middle name is Anne)
Nora
Quinn
*Maybe Anna Kate, or Nora Reese*
~For a baby boy, we like short names~
Drew
Reid
Ethan
Nolan
Ed or Luis(after my grandpa)
Luke
Brantly (Nate's middle name is Brandt)
Avery *Maybe Drew Avery or Nolan Brantly*
Sometime after 2012 gets here, God willing, we may use one of these names.... haha
