We were busy with a few birthdays in January this year. First, it was Nana’s 80th Birthday! Of course, she didn’t want anybody to even mention it, but it was special for us to get the whole family together to throw her a little surprise.
When I am still and quiet, sometimes I think about when Nate and I will be 80 and the family that we will have. It is pretty special to live that long and see so many people come straight from you. Every day is a gift and I am beyond grateful that Mollie gets to have Nana and Papa in her life.
Earlier that day, Mollie had her first Chuck-E-Cheese experience. She wasn’t so sure.
Next, Thomas Henry Bacon made his debut. January 21, 2015! It was nothing but happiness to see my brother and sis-in-law finally get the baby they had prayed for. He is too cute! Man, I loooooove my nephews!
And, last but certainly not least, we went to P-town to celebrate with Mom. I am super grateful to live within driving distance for days like this. My mom always makes sure we have cake on our birthdays, so Mollie and I are always going to make sure she has one for hers.
