Halloween 2014
My little Tinkerbelle was so stinkin precious! I loved her little outfit so much. Complete with shoes and wings ;)
We had a fun night at our church’s “Walk Through the Bible”. Mollie, of course, loved all the candy in her basket. She figured that out really fast. And, she got her face painted for the first time… a Tinkerbelle. She cried when it came off in her bath.
I always remember going to see my grandparents on Halloween. So, I want to continue that tradition with my girl. Going trick-or-treating door-to-door just doesn’t sound safe to me anymore. It’s sad but true. So… going to see Grandma and Papa, Grandmama and Granddaddy, Grandma Betty, and Nana and Papa Bill sounds much better.
We walked down Main Street to see Granddaddy and Grandmama. The lines for candy were craaaazy long, so we just skipped all that. This will probably be the last year she will let us. She loved playing on the train and even got to sit in a brand new fire truck.
So sweet!

Gettin’ on the Potty Train
I heard from a lot of different people about potty training. When to do it, when not to do it, and on. I researched it myself and felt positive that Mollie was ready to try. She showed a lot of the signs “they” talk about online, but the most glaring one was that she always asked to go to the potty. The nursery teacher at church said her daughter was potty trained at 18 months, so I said what the hay, we’ll try it.
I am a planner to the core, so of course, I had a plan. And, surprisingly, it all went great! We did the three day “naked weekend” where she didn’t wear diapers, pull-ups, panties, or pants for three days. I put down a tarp and her little potty and we had a blast going potty every 20 minutes. She got a sticker every time she went pee pee, and a prize out of the prize bag for going #2. On day two, she started using the big potty and by day three she had it down. Of course for the next couple days, if we went anywhere, the potty went with us ;)
This was October 23-25, 2014. She was almost 23 Months. I am so proud of my super smart girl and also very happy about not buying anymore diapers (for the time being).

Pumpkin Patch 2014
Always a good time. Mollie was old enough to enjoy it this time! We rode the merry-go-round, stopped for some pictures with pumpkins, played on the playground, and pet a baby bunny.
Then we headed to this slide… where she went down with Nate and by herself. Then jumped on a big trampoline, and took a train ride!
Then it was on to the hay ride, where we picked out a pumpkin.
