Pumpkin Patch 2017

As always, went ventured to Orr Family Farm for their awesome pumpkin patch.  I was super excited about Mollie and Reed having matching shirts.

We rode the train, jumped on the big trampoline, took pictures, rode the hay ride to the pumpkin patch, climbed the tires, slid down the giant slides, played in corn, fed some goats, watched a chicken show, and rode the carousal.  Reed enjoyed a nice long nap from the stroller.

Highlights Include:  Trip to see Mamaw and Papaw, Colors week in Pre-K, Papaw’s funeral, Crash Weekend, Disney on Ice, Reed meeting Grandma Betty, Spending time with cousins, New shed in our backyard, and My matching boys.

Reed Isaac – 4 Months Old

I just can’t deal with your cuteness… I mean come on!  You are growing so much every day!  You started rolling both from your back to your belly, and from your belly to your back.  You tried some rice cereal on September 30… and you weren’t too sure about it.  You just love Mama’s milk!

We were excited to have Grandma Betty and Mamaw meet you this month… and all the McConathy’s got to see you at Papaw’s funeral.  We also went to our first State Fair and saw Disney on Ice.  Next year, you will love it ;)

Our yearly tradition was almost canceled this year, but we squeezed it in.  We all almost fell asleep, but it was fun none-the-less.Our original ticket date was the same day as Papaw’s funeral… and we ended up going straight after church on the Sunday of our youth’s Crash Weekend. 

Mollie was really excited to see all the princesses.  And she picked out a fancy horse as her souvenir.  This was Reed’s first Disney on Ice…. He watched for a few minutes before he fell asleep.

We can’t believe our sweet girl has started school.  This is her precious Pre-K school pic.  I want to always remember her sweet baby hairs, how she always licks under her bottom lip and how she smiles so hard her eyes are almost closed.  Just love her soooooo much!

Labor Day Trip

September 1-2

Since Mollie was out of school, we decided to scoot on down to see Mamaw and Papaw over the weekend.  We knew that Papaw was getting worse and definitely wanted to see him…. Sadly, after we saw him, we knew it would be our last time this side of Heaven.

We had fun with Mamaw… going to Dairy Queen and introducing her to Reed.  Mollie loved looking at all her pictures she had colored and I’m pretty sure we came home with a folder full.

And as always, she loved staying in the hotel.
