We can’t believe how big you are getting! This month you started walking!!! You took your first steps on April 12 and we got them on video. You also celebrated your first Easter…. looking oh so cute in a little 3 piece suit. You got your first haircut, not by me, and were awesome. You just sat so perfectly still, looking like a big boy. We enjoyed some extra time with Mollie because of the teacher walk-out, and watched a lot more soccer.

March – May 2018
We had a great time playing for Coach Kyle with the Leapin’ Lizards. Mollie grew so much! She would go out there and play even if Kinley wasn’t with her by the end of the season. The first game when she ran over to us crying I was a tad worried, but she braved it and learned a lot! We were so proud of her and just love to watch her do anything. She even scored a goal on the last game!
I think her favorite part of soccer was sitting in the wagon and getting snacks at the end, but that’s ok.
She wants to keep it up, so we’ll be on the gold and pink Caticorns next season and it should be very entertaining.
April 13, 2018 . 10 1/2 Months Old
Cutest thing ever. He just sat in the chair so still and patient. We were all very impressed. The previous two times I cut it at home he did not stop moving.
Easter was a little different this year… being on April 1st. But it was exciting for Reed’s first Easter ever! We had a fun egg hunt at Mollie’s school and also celebrated at Grandmama and Granddaddy’s a little early.
Mollie always has fun with Aubrey and Avery and they were so excited to hunt those eggs. Grandmama always has a story to share and this time Mollie got to hold up the picture of Jesus. Reed wasn’t too into hunting the eggs, but he really liked putting them in his mouth.
We were so proud of Mollie singing a duet in front of everyone at church. It was so precious… She practiced every day 1,000x and Nate and I absolutely loved seeing her sing, “In the name of the Father, In the name of the Son, In the name of the Spirit, Lord we come. We’re gathered together, To lift up His name, To call on our Savior, To fall on Your grace.”
Then on Easter Sunday we went to church…. Reed’s little suit was the cutest thing ever… and then down to Grandma and Papa’s for lunch.
