Thanksgiving 2017
Reed’s very first Thanksgiving! It was so fun to be a family of four this year. And, for the first time in like 17 years we didn’t have to drive down to Mamaw and Papaw’s. The drive was not missed… but we sure missed going to their house and spending time with them. This was our first holiday without Papaw, so it was probably good to have it in Oklahoma… Somewhere different to distract us. Overall, it was fun to have all the Texas family up here for a change.
We ate, played some games, and Granddaddy set up quite the contraption for Avery’s piƱata.
Something else different this year… We got to celebrate with my side of the family, since we weren’t in Texas. It was good to see everyone and get some precious pictures with Nana and Papa. Nana sure loves those babies.

Lunch with Someone “Grand”
November 13, 2017
Mollie is so blessed to have such wonderful and supportive grandparents. They jumped at the chance to come have lunch with Mollie for Grandparent’s Day at her school.
They also got to look around at the book fair and play outside for a bit. Papa wished he could be there, but he was away on a hunting trip (as always for mid-November).
Family Pictures–November 2017
For Reed’s 6 Month pictures, we decided to make it a family affair and just go for it. We found a great photographer and we so appreciated all the time she took for us. Every time I look at these smiles, I feel so super blessed. Thank you Lord, how could I ask for more.
