Mother’s Day 2017
May 14, 2017
This year was pretty low key. I usually try to go see all the “mothers” in my life, but I was just too pregnant. My mom came up to church with us and got to see Mollie sing with the children’s choir. It was good to have my mom beside me on Mother’s Day!
We went to lunch and enjoyed not going back to church.
I feel so very fortunate to be a mom… there is nothing more precious to me. Mollie is just the sweetest and we can’t wait to welcome little brother very soon!

Mollie’s Last Day of Mother’s Day Out
This year of Mother’s Day Out has been the absolute best! Mollie has loved every single day. She asked us every night… “How many more sleeps til school?”
Her teachers were just precious and we are so grateful for all the hard work they put into her class and giving her the individual attention she needs. It was so sad to see it end… but we know that she will love Pre-K!
She grew so much! From 39.5 lbs to 43.6 lbs. and from 41” to 43.5”
She learned to write and color so well. She learned how to make good friends and emerged as a leader… even though she was the youngest in her class. She got to play on a firetruck, meet lots of new animals, learn songs and life lessons. Her teachers said she was always comforting anyone that was upset…. and telling stories about her “older sister”??? She really loved Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom, and we loved it too!
Her teachers, Mrs. Teresa and Mrs. Lisa had this to say about our sweet Mollie Girl: “Mollie has such a great sense of who she is and how to speak her mind in a kind way. She has a skill in verbally summing up a situation that is both precious and valuable. We are so thankful she got to be in our class! The kids all gravitate to her and if she was gone they truly missed her. She is definitely a leader and an absolute joy to know.”
We are already so proud of you, Mollie Grace! Even though we are super sad to see you grow up so fast, we look forward to each new chapter. We know that you will love your new school and excel there as well. We are so grateful for your sweet spirit and kind heart for others. We pray you always keep that up.
Love,
Mommy & Daddy
