Thanksgiving 2016

We went down to Mawmaw and Papaw’s for Thanksgiving.  It is always good to see them.  We also got to meet Nate’s cousin’s new baby, Jude.  It was Mollie’s real birthday during our trip so she got to blow out three (big) candles with her breakfast biscuit.

Then when we got back home we celebrated with the whole Bacon family at Grandma and Papa’s house.  Always some rough housin’ going on there…

Mollie’s 3rd Birthday

Time is flying!  We are so proud of our sweet girl.  She makes every day more fun and we love getting to celebrate her on her birthdays!  She has been asking for a party all year, so it was so much fun to finally throw her one.

All her friends came and she had a great day!

Family Pictures–November 2016

Mollie’s 3 Year Pictures didn’t turn out quite like I thought…  From crazy winds that blew away our three precious pink balloons, to a girl that was not happy about it.  And, throw in there a frazzled mom and freezing temps.  Through it all, we did manage to get a few cute pics (when Nate pretended to smell my armpit).

My 30th Birthday

I like surprises…. sometimes.  I’m still unsure if I liked this one…. It’s hard to have so much attention, but at the same time, sometimes it’s nice to know how loved you are.  It was very sweet of Nate and my friends to get together to give my a 30th birthday to remember.  It was super fun to have a birthday party since I hadn’t had one since I was a teen.

I’m still sad about leaving my 20’s behind, but I’m embracing this new decade and looking forward to all that it will bring.  Forever grateful for my wonderful family and friends.
