Halloween 2013

Nate’s favorite movies have always been Star Wars.  We watch all six of them every now and then.  When it came time to pick Mollie’s costume for Halloween this year, we looked at all the cute little lions, monkeys, flowers, fairies galore…. But nothing seemed as great as Princess Lea. Ha

I also have a thing about cute monogrammed baskets.  So, of course, I had to get one. Most of the time, she carried around a little Yoda.

 

I always remember going to see my grandparents on Halloween, so I want to definitely continue that tradition with Mollie girl.  So, we went down to see Grandma, Papa, Grandmamma, and Granddaddy, Grandma Betty, Nana, and Papa Bill.

We also got to see Brendan and Landry, and some other cousins that we don’t see enough of.  It was a fun time for sure.

       

Mollie ~ 11 Months

September 26 – October 26, 2013

This month you went to your first parade at Czech Fest.  It was really cold, but you enjoyed it!  We also went to the pumpkin patch with your friends.  You loved looking at all the animals.  Around October 16, you started saying “no".  It’s really cute….. right now ;)

I feel so blessed to have a beautiful daughter to be able to take places, like the pumpkin patch. It is such a joy!  Mollie’s first trip to the pumpkin patch was a good time.  We went with my two best friends and a load of kiddos.  Nate thought Mollie was ready for all the animals and the big slide.  I foresee that being a lot more fun next year…. but she liked it all anyway.  She is always looking around and taking it all in…Never smiling for the camera.  We looked around, went down a slide, watched Gage and Arlen jump around, took a tractor ride to get our three little pumpkins and went to eat mexican food.

 

 

Mollie ~ 10 Months

August 26 – September 26, 2013

You have developed such a cute little personality these days.  You are still shy around strangers, but I love how you cling to me when they talk to you ;)  You started trying to walk around September 15.  You are easily entertained and still love to be soothed by pacis.  You like to swing and watch Claire run around.  You get into the cabinets all the time, and like to play with your learning table.  This month, you also went to your first football game!

 

Mollie ~ 9 Months Old

July 26 – August 26, 2013

This was a big month!  You went on a big vacation to Chicago with mom, dad, Zack, Hollie, Gage, and Hope.  You rode the subway, went to two baseballs games, the bean, the Willis Tower, aquarium.  You went swimming and started to crawl (on a golf green, August 1) and clap (August 3)!  You got your first top tooth and your first bad viral rash.  Then you got two more teeth.  You stayed with Grandma and Papa again so we could celebrate our anniversary.

 

8th Anniversary

I love celebrating anniversaries.  Probably because I love my Nater so stinkin much.  He is absolutely the best husband I could ask for and I am truly thankful everyday!

For our anniversary this year, we took a segway tour of downtown (OKC, that is).  It was so much fun.  If we had an extra $12,000 laying around, we may buy one someday.  Nate fell off once…. glad we didn’t have to buy that one ;)
