Vacation Bible School 2018
June 24-28
Mollie looks forward to this week every year. She was excited to invite some of her Pre-K friends, and even won a big prize for inviting so many friends. She loved having her bestie, Kinley with her all week long. They went over to each other’s houses afterwards because they just can’t be together too much. We also had a lot of fun with the little photobooth…. every day.
We were glad to have Grandma come watch her do her songs and help us with Reed at the carnival where Nate got water ballooned and Mollie got a snocone and some face paint.

Father’s Day 2018
June 17, 2018
This was Nate’s second Father’s Day as a Father of 2! I remember how tiny Reed was last year…. This year, it was the day after Falls Creek so Nate got to have matching outfits too. ha
We got him some car charging thing and painted him a cute little picture with Mollie’s hand and Reed’s foot.

Falls Creek 2018
June 11-16
Nate and I don’t know when his time as a Youth Pastor will be finished, but we do know that Falls Creek will always be a part of our lives. It is always a great week and this year was no different! We have a younger group these days, but they are sweet and respectful and that’s all we can ask for.
Grandma and Papa were out of town for a family reunion, so both Mollie and Reed spent the whole week with us! It went great because I am now able to shift my focus…. I’m a mom first. The end. That takes all the pressure off…. I know I’m there for the girls so if they need me, they know where to find me.
We got into a cute little cabin that’s really close to our cabin so that made everything even better! Reed spent a lot of time in the wagon, stroller and baby k’tan carrier. And Mollie loved playing and coloring with all the kids. We were also very thankful for Shelby and her willingness to always help and entertain.

Reed’s 1st Birthday Party – My, Oh My…How Time Flies!
We had so much fun celebrating Reed’s first birthday. I loved putting the party together for him, just like I did for Mollie’s. He didn’t really know what was going on, but he had a great time walking around and eating pizza.
Grandma continued her tradition of making the cakes… She made the cutest cake, smash cake, cookies and cupcakes!
He didn’t dig into the cake and go crazy like we all thought he would…. but he ate a little. There were too many people looking at him.
For decorations, we went with red, white and blue. Everything was pretty cute…. complete with banners, pictures on the TV, gummy airplane party favors, and cloud centerpieces. Mollie also decorated a cloud for his birthday and we made sure to hang it the first place people would see.
We all ate pizza, pretzels and peanuts (like you get on planes) and Grandma’s yummy cake. Then we spend some time bouncing in the bounce house and opening a few presents.
Happy Birthday sweet boy! We love you soooooooo!
