Disney on Ice 2018

This is one of our favorite things to do!  We look forward to it all year long.  This year was a little different because Reed wasn’t a baby in my lap.  One of his favorite things to do is watch movies…. especially Moana.  So, we thought he would love all the music and lights…. no big deal… he will do great.  Turns out, not really his thing.  So…. Nate took care of him through the first half and then during the last half he watched my phone in my lap.

This year it was Moana, Belle, Frozen, Nemo and all the Disney Crew.  Mollie loved it as usual. Nate and I are always impressed too.  This year, she picked out a cute little Belle necklace…. and the normal snocone.

Disney on Ice 2017

September 17, 2017

Our yearly tradition was almost canceled this year, but we squeezed it in.  We all almost fell asleep, but it was fun none-the-less.Our original ticket date was the same day as Papaw’s funeral… and we ended up going straight after church on the Sunday of our youth’s Crash Weekend.

Mollie was really excited to see all the princesses.  And she picked out a fancy horse as her souvenir.  This was Reed’s first Disney on Ice…. He watched for a few minutes before he fell asleep.

Praising God for making all things new and grace to start each new day.  We are truly blessed!

Big Twelve Baseball 2016

May 25-29, 2016

We always look forward to this.  I was especially looking forward to it this year, because it was our first vacation days away from work.  It is so important to step away for a minute to catch your breath.  We had a lot of fun and watched a lot of baseball!

Day 1:  We were glad Mom and Dad got to come watch with us.  We went to the morning session, where Mollie enjoyed the slide and learning to spit sunflower seed shells.  Then walked to Bass Pro and looked around for a while.  And went back for the night session, where we Tommy, Crystal and Henry met us.  Good times for sure!

Day 2:  We got to watch a couple games with three of our youth guys.  Mollie enjoyed some more sliding, and met a new friend under the score board.

Pumpkin Patch

10.15.15

We love going to the pumpkin patch.  This year it was a little cold, but we made it just fine.  The Tennyson’s were out of town, so we missed being with them… But we went ahead with the Fall Break Friday trip + Ted’s Mexican Food tradition.  And, Mollie and Hope had matching shirts!

She had a lot of fun this year doing everything there was to offer at Orr Family Farms: Train Ride, Playground fun, Corn Pit, Giant Slide, Trampoline, Pumpkin Patch, Merry-Go-Round, and Kettle Corn.

And some comparisons from last year and this year… Man, what a difference a year makes.
